A new report has suggested that LG will be introducing its premium mobile payments service in USA, and this service will be named as LG Pay, and it will be launched in USA in the first half of this year. After South Korea, US will be the second market where LG Pay will be actually available.

LG also confirmed that the mobile payment service will be available in USA by the name of LG Wallet. Another worth-mentioning thing in this regard is that the app has already been listed in the Google Play Store. However, it reveals that one needs to have G7 phone for installing it.

Report has also said the same thing that LG Wallet will be only compatible with V40 and G7, i.e. the two upcoming flagship smartphones. The app will be expanded to the mid-range phones in the next phase.

LG G7 is set to be unveiled in the upcoming MWC event, and hence it seems appropriate that the app namely LG Wallet will also be revealed in this event.
