MediaTek has announced to chipsets for tablets 64-bit MT8163 and MT8735 at the Hong Kong Electronics fair.The new MediaTek MT8163 chip consists of 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPU which efficiently supports a 1080p display. This chip can run Android 5.1 Lollipop by default and can also withstand along dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooh 4.0, FM radio, and GPS.The other MT8735 offers 64-bit support with Cortex-A53 architecture along competitive performance. It can easily handle featured 6-mode 4G LTE network, this SoC can also ropes dual-band Wi-Fi network, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.Tablets with either of the chipset will start shipping to China and other Asian markets in the coming months. These tablets will mostly belong to the entry-level to mid-range segment of the tablets.
