London Accelerator Programme: Pfizer Has Chosen 1st Batch of Startups

Pharma giant, Pfizer has picked 3 UK healthcare startups with a purpose to indulge latest technology to the National Health Service (NHS). The startups have been chosen for the upcoming London Healthcare Hub accelerator. The judging day was held at Pfizer UK head office where startups namely Echo, Cera and GiveVision had been given thumbs up.

Echo is a free app, which delivers repeat prescribed medicines at the doorstep of the user. The app is also on the forefront of altering people’s way of consuming medication so to reduce waste and to offer proper wellness. The startup already partnered with NHS to provide their service to them.

Cera is focusing on homecare by matching the old patients with right physician or doctor. By seeking help of Pfizer, the startup is looking forward to spread to other locations and to step out of London.

GiveVision has made a SightPlus headset, which is portable and wearable. Purpose of the wearable headset is to improve visual impairment.
