LG has recently announced that its upcoming G4 flagship will pack fingerprint sensor. Before this LG was not in favor of investing in such technology but its revival in iPhone 5 has made this a trend in many premium devices. Recently in MWC Samsung released its new Galaxy S series-the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge- both sporting Fingerprint scanner and innovative mobile payment system and other tech services. Then Qualcomm also released its new 3D scanning fingerprint sensor topping Apple’s Touch IDin speed and security level. With the recent trends LG has found it’s a necessary to launch devices with new fingerprint and mobile payment systems. An insider claims that it will be a last minute change by LG in G4. Right now LG is expected to launch this Spring but as it is a last minute change, it is easy to do on paper then in the actual product so we can supposedly say that the finger-print scanner is just visiting our rumor mill. It can only be confirmed at the official announcement.
