Lava International, the Indian smartphone brand, has announced on all Lava smartphones and feature phones two-year warranty. The future Lava mobile phones as well as the existing ones both come under two-year warranty scheme. Notably, the two-year warranty is applicable only to those existing Lava smartphones and feature phones that have bought on or after August 26.

The warranty period is break down according to the parts of mobile, such as warranty for the display unit which includes both touch panel and LCD is valid for twelve months. The charger, battery, earphones, headset and physical parts like back and front cover, battery cover, power and volume keys all have only six months warranty.

Within the warranty period, the repairing services can be received only at the authorized service centers of Lava International. Lava has almost more than 1,000 authorized service centers all over the India. However, the warranty doesn’t cover the damages happened due to improper installation of ROM files, unauthorized repair, slippage in water and scratches.
