Google recently released its latest July security patch. Many of the Pixel users have issues in installing this latest July security patch. Unfortunately, this update fails to install on the smaller Pixel phones. In Nexus and Pixel devices don’t have similar issues.

‘July Security Update’ is not functioning on Pixel Phones … Google is working to fix it soon!

The update is around 60MB and is supposed to fix all the critical bugs as well as improved performance and stability of the operating system. But the chances are high that you will get an error message about installation problem on your mobile if you have Pixel Phone.

As many of the Pixel Phone owners took this issue to the Google’s Product Forums, but Google acknowledges that they already noticed this problem and working on it to fix it as soon as possible. Positively, the issue will be fixable without a factory reset.

Moreover, if you are not using a Pixel Phone, you can simply download the OTA files that contain the July security update, and you don’t want to wait for it to reach on your device.
