John Chen confirms Blackberry will continue with more Android Handsets.

Blackberry CEO John Chen has recently confirmed that the company will launch more Android-powered handsets in the coming future. Currently the company has also introduce price cut on PRIV, in order to boost it sales. But $ 50 price cut seems a lot less for this already overpriced handset as per analysts. The device was initially selling for almost $700, which was considered too much for an Android-powered handset.

Blackberry lack of adapting to current mobile trend has been the reason of this plight. Moreover, players like Apple and Samsung continued with experimentation, and introduced more coherent market technology that helped then to snatch market share from Blackberry. According to Blackberry, even the existing of the recent Android-powered handset depends on the sales and growth of PRIV in coming quarters.
