Iran has banned the game Pokémon Go in the country because of security reasons. According to Foreign Media, Pokémon Go has been banned in the country for some unforeseen security reasons. This decision of banning Pokémon Go has been taken by High Council of Virtual Spaces, which oversees the online activities in the Iran. 

There are other countries who have also put forward their reservation for Pokémon Go, but Iran is the first to ban the game. Despite of the ban on Internet in Iran, those who use social media are talking about this game vehemently.

Last month, those working with Pokémon Go in Iran wanted the creator of Pokémon Go to compromise with them. A Saudi Scholar has previously given Fatwa on Pokémon Go card game and says the same goes for Pokémon Go.
