A Sony Xperia handset gets FCC Certification.

An unknown Sony Xperia handset has recently received FCC Certification. The model number of the Sony device is 14784Z, and it is codenamed Kugo. There is not much to learn about the model expect its battery that is said to power 2700mAh. However, the certification unveils that launch should be near which could be at 1st September at IFC in Berlin.

During the event, Sony might introduce a brand new flagship under the model number of Xperia F8331, which is unlike the current Xperia X and older Xperia Z models. The handset is likely to offer 4K video recording using both the rear and front-shooting cameras. It is also rumored to come with Type-C USB port, and sports a display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920.

As far as the Kugo is concerned, it already has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications. As per latest rumors, it is expected to come with 5.2-inch screen and runs on a Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood. Further, the device will have 4GB of RAM and should support NFC.
