Apple’s iPhone 6s has no doubt done a remarkable job in terms of sales in US market. But on the whole it is very important to learn that whether its actual sales have hit the 76million record that was estimated before the release. As usual, Cupertino giant is silent on the matter and will stay like this before the official announcement of Q4 financial reports in 2016.

This gives a lot of room to other analyst to say something concerning and conflicting regarding the handset. On one hand we have Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley, who claims that 6s is even more powerful than its predecessor in terms of sales and with consumer need rising 10% year-over-year, the iPhone still has the tendency to lead US market esp. in the era of rising iPhone user loyalty.

On the contrary, Pacific Crest Securities analyst John Vinh, claims that the 76 million figure is a bit over estimated. He translates the whole thing into the game of not more than 67 million. He also found some solid evidence while speculating that supply of Chips from Asia has gone down to 15% as to adjust to lower market interest. Furthermore, a recent survey among carriers in West Europe and North America has shown that most of them are yet to drain their iPhone 6s stocks.

However, whatever the sales figure will be, it can be undoubtedly said that iPhone 6s is not failure and there are still high hopes the 6s would outperform its predecessor. Till 2016, take the rest of the things as grain of salt.
