According to the analyst of Morgan Stanley, Katy Huberty, Apple Inc. might be experiencing a super cycle with the new and upcoming flagship brand, i.e. iPhone 8.

Morgan Stanley Report: iPhone 8 Super Cycle Delays

Such a phenomenon is expected to occur in October this year. So October seems to be the month when this year’s iPhone will be released rather than September when the iPhone usually used to be launched.

Super cycle phenomenon is primarily defined as a situation where old iPhone owners are intentionally giving back their devices for purchasing the newer ones with added features and major upgrades. This way, it is expected that iPhone 8 will experience more than 10% rise in sales as compared to its predecessors.

Moreover, the new iPhone 8 is expected to cost more than $1000. However, the higher price will get the users special OLED panel, 3D sensor for AR and wireless charging.

According to Morgan Stanley report, the sale price for all iPhones is also expected to rise by $775, in which 63% of the sales will be done through shipments.
