Huawei’s Kirin chipset possible specs leak

Huawei in-house chipset Kirin is not widely discussed and popular choice for device manufacturers especially when it comes to flagships. It does not have proprietary graphics instead relies on ARM technology which is an average performer. But for the upcoming Kirin something new is expected this time as the Chinese tech giant is unveiling major upgrade in its lineup revealing-Kirin 930, Kirin 940 and Kirin 950.A spec sheet for the chipset has been leaked which is likely to look impressive as Huawei will going to be the next Nexus manufacturer so the new chipset has to be an amazing one. The first Chipset is Kirin 930 which we are already familiar with in Huawei MediaPad X2 and the Huawei P8. It comes equipped with four Cortex A53 cores plus another four A57 ones, with clocks that can tick at 2GHz. The GPU is an ARM Mali T628. The SoCcan back up to 32MP sensors and offers 1080p video encoding. The Kirin 930 also dubbed as i3 will now have an upgraded version i5. This should allow for continuous measurements as well as better connectivity and security.

The Kirin 940 will have even more capable Cortex A72, throws in LPDDR4 memory support, DUAL ISP with 4K video encoding. GPU is Mali T860 with admirable graphic performance and many other improvements.

The Kirin 950 will only come with a bit lit up specs than Kirin 940. It can support up to 42MP DUAL ISP, Cat.  10 LTE and a Mali T880 GPU.

According to the rumors, all three chips will debut this year, in Q2, Q3 and Q4, respectively.
