Huawei Mate 8 was unveiled in December last year. Earlier this year, analyst Pan Jiutang stated that Mate 9 will launch by the end of this year. He further said that the next Mate will feature dual-camera set up with 20MP at the rear. However, it does not appear on AnTuTu. He also said that the device will feature Kirin 960 chipset carrying along with an Octa-core CPU and support LTE Cat.12 speed.

As per AnTuTu, the Huawei Mate 9 will pack a 5.9-inch display with pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920. The device is likely to feature an octa-core humming at 2.6GHz CPU and Mali-T880 GPU for handling graphics. Mate 9 has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory under the hood. In camera department, the device will come with 11MP main camera, and a 7MP secondary shooter. Android 7.0 should be pre-installed.

With a bit downgraded specs, the Mate 9 existence has become suspicious. Another best guess could be that it some other mid-range device by Huawei.
