The Huawei Honor 8 which was previously rumored to get unveiled on July 5 are now confirmed to launch on July 11. The News shows up on Huawei Honor official website.

Just a few days back, Chinese telecommunication regulatory authority, TENNA, revealed specs as the device got certified.

Huawei Honor 8 will now launch on July 11.

The dimension of the handset measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.45 mm and weighs 153 grams. The Huawei Honor packs 5.2-inch display with pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, where a QHD variant also exists. Camera-wise, it has a 12 MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front-facer. It runs on an octa-core 2.3 GHz Kirin 950 or 955. Memory-wise, it has a 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable storage space. Rest of the specs include 2900mAh battery and a round fingerprint scanner.  The honor 8 will come with Android Marshmallow pre-installed and the device might cost you around $300.

Whether the device will currently launch in US stateside or not is yet unknown.
