Huawei is one of the top brands in the world. Huawei Honor 8 lite is beautifully designed and a budget phone.

Design

Huawei Honor 8 lite has an excellent design and build quality. It has the same glass of Honor 8 but it still lack a bit the unique reflection pattern of original device

It has a shiny back and there is high chance of getting scratches. At the right side there is a power and volume buttons and left side has the SIM1 plus hybrid SIM2/ microSD card slot. The bottom has the speakers and microUSB slot and the head phone jack is on the top

Software

It has EMUI version 5.0 which is built on Android 7.0 nougat. Huawei is also giving options to enable an app drawer.

Performance

It has a 1080p screen with 3000 mAh battery. The battery life is excellent

Camera

It has a 12 MP camera and the front camera is 8MP which is great for a casual selfie

Pros:

• Does not get fingerprints on screen easily

Cons:

• Software seems a little rough
• With glass on both sides, durability would be an issue
• No Gorilla Glass to protect the display screen
• No dual camera setup

If you want a phone which looks shiny, cool and premium then you can go for Huawei Honor 8 lite. It has a great battery life and performance. But there are other good options as well.
