HTC One M8i is rumored to be in works.Besides the One (M9), HTC is also working on mid–range variant of M8. According to unconfirmed sources the new will be dubbed as One M8i and is currently codenamed M8_QL. As the name resembles One M8 hence it is considered a potential Mini variant.It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, namely the MSM8939.

This has an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor. Four of its cores can be clocked at up to 1.7 GHz, while the rest only go up to 1 GHz.
Unfortunately, there are no more specs leaked but chipset choice point out at few more hardware changes might appear in new version. Up till now these are just rumors so we might take it as pinch of salt. Wait and see what comes next in the rumor mill.
