In November HTC unveiled Desire 820 s which is an iteration of original 820. Up till now the phone was only available in China but from now onwards it has been offered for sale in India. The 820s packs a MediaTek chipset instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon in 820. Also with different CPU and GPU, 820s bring faster processor with octa-core Cortex-A53 cores all clocked at 1.7 GHz as compared to 820 which has four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, and another four clocked at 1 GHz. The featured GPU is Mali-T760. The 820s is 4G-enabled and has a dual-SIM capability. It has a 5.5-inch 720p touchscreen with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage (which is expandable via microSD). Camera-wise, it features a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front snapper for selfies. It is powered by a 2,600mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC’s Sense 6 UI on top.

Currently it is priced at INR 24, 490 which roughly makes $390.
