HTC launches Desire 626G+ in India

HTC has unveiled another smartphone in Indian market dubbed Desire 626G+ which is just regional variant of Desire 626 in Taiwan. The same smartphone was launched in home market back in February. This is a mid-ranger and a perfect offering for emerging markets.The Desire 626G+ packs 5-inch 720p touchscreen. The chipset is mentioned in the documents but it probably will be a MediaTek MT6752 equipped with 1.7 GHz octa-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of built-in storage (expandable via microSD). Camera-wise, it has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP Selfie unit. It is powered by 2,000 mAh battery.It runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC price for Desire 626G+ in India is INR 16,900, which is roughly around $271 or €250. That’s quite a bit more than the Taiwanese price which is around $190. The new handset will come in two color versions, Blue Lagoon and White Birch. It will become available in stores very soon.
