There comes a news recently, about the Google that supports different devices and systems in Android market. Yes android market that is existed before the Google Play. Google still supports Android market for the devices that works on older versions of Android, but now the news comes out that Google is going to stop this support.

Google has just announced that Android 2.1 i.e. Éclair and other versions that were released before Éclair; reached to the only 0.1% of the Android population. So, they decided due to this low percentage to stop the support to Google market. As Google introduces Google Play with Android 2.2, so any device older then this will have to upgrade in anyway.

As Android version 2.2 still have great population around the world, so Google have decided to provide its services to this version. But those days are near when users have to upgrade to the newer versions forcefully.
