Google has introduced a high resolution camera that can capture gigapixel pictures. However, this camera cannot be used for taking Selfies.

The camera dubbed ART Camera has been designed for the Google Cultural Institute. The purpose of the Camera is to capture all the exceptional paintings in the Museum and their details. Google says that this camera is so powerful that it keeps even the tiniest stroke of the brush intact.

Google introduces GigaPixel (GP) camera.

This camera takes picture of the painting and sends its high resolution images to Google server, where the pictures are gathered. Previously this action took many days now it can be completed within hours. Currently Google’s catalogue has 1000 pictures in it around the World.
