Global roll out of Android Marshmallow for Xperia Z5 has started.

Though Sony has considered leaving its ever famous Z series in favor of more dialed-back X series, but it hasn’t still totally ignored the Z5 fans as a Marshmallow update is rolling out globally to the handset. The company though call it a global roll out but it is currently spotted in few regions of the world including Thailand, Russia, Algeria, MENA Arabic, Saudi Arabia, United States, India, and Malaysia.

The models that are getting the update include single SIM E6653. It will also roll out to Dual-SIM models with model numbers E6683 and E6633. The 6.0 32.1.A.1.163 firmware has recently rolled out via the Sony PC Companion app while an OTA is likely to come along very soon.

The official changelog now includes latest run time permissions model and app nodding. Other updates include much awaited improved camera interface, Xperia Messaging with stickers on the go and Direct Share for handing over your activities to friends.
