Alcatel is introducing unique trends to its carrier-tailored smartphones and is aggressively following the policy of announcing them massively in respective markets. Even with the variability in specs in one model, time has proved that the OEM has developed handsets that are stand out in the market and are being warmly welcomed.

Alcatel to launch OneTouch Flash on October 20 in India

One such example is OneTouch Flash 2. It was originally developed for Asian market and first hit Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. Now it is likely to get to the shores of Indian market. The launch event will take place on October 20, 2015 which is just few days ahead.

Apart from its mid-range characteristics, the device packs 5-inch 720p IPS touchscreen. Further it runs on an octa-core MediaTek’s MT6753 chipset with 2GB of RAM. OneTouch Flash also comes with 16GB internal storage (expandable via microSD).

Primary OneTouch Flash will be a camera-centric device. It has an unprecedented 13 MP Samsung ISOCELL rear camera accompanying phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and a dual-tone dual-LED flash. In addition to this it carries 5 MP Selfie cam with LED flash on the front. The main camera promises focus times as quick as 0.3 seconds.

OneTouch Flash 2 supports dual-SIM functionality and LTE connectivity. The device boots Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by 3000mAh battery. The handset is available on Flipkart in Volcanic Grey and Mica White color options. Pricing is likely to unveil on October 20.
