The British parliament was hit by a cyberattack yesterday. One of the spokeswoman in the House of Commons said that due to this the lawmakers and other parliamentary staff could not log into the system to use emails to check messages

A spokesperson told BBC” The House of parliament has seen unauthorized attempts into their website and we are investigating the matter to make secure our computer network”

It is not known that how many people account were hacked or affected and up to how much. Because of this the remote access to the email is disabled till further notice which is confirmed by the MP on the Twitter account.

Tory MP henry “There would be no parliamentary email access today as we are under cyber-attack from Kim Jong Un, Putin or a kid in his mom’s basement or something”

According to the AP, The National Cyber Security Center and the National Crime agency is looking into this matter
