Samsung pioneered the trend of edge screens in smartphone Industry by first introducing Note Edge which is flagship phone and phablet in its smartphone category. Later the one edged curved screen turned into dual edged variant for its flagship S models i.e. the S6 edge and S7 edge. Other manufacturers are also joining the race as Vivo recently announced Xplay5.

More Curved edge smartphones on the Horizon.

Reports have been claiming that Samsung is now selling dual edged variant to few Chinese OEM including Xiaomi. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is in the rumor mill to come with an extra flair of edges on both sides. The current Mi Note which is not very old will soon get replaced by its successor and is likely to come in a better design and innards.

The other manufacturer mentioned to come with the same development is Huawei, and the one potential device that is likely to come with costly dual curved edge is Huawei Mate which is the flagship phones and will be successor of Mate S. Moreover, the Huawei P9 is about to launch in a month. Its dual camera set up has been leaked many times with single render unveiling a front camera and never photographed in the wild.
