Apple has lost a legal fight in China for its trademark. A company manufacturing leather handbags has been permitted to use the word iPhone for its products.

Apple has filed this case in the court where he was fighting a legal battle against this company. The Chinese company has been using the trademark of Apple on its handbags, leather phone cases and other products since 2007.

China permits a leather brand to use word iPhone.

The name iPhone was not owned by Apple from the start. Apple applied for this trademark in 2002 which got accepted in 2013. Apple iPhone became a popular brand even before getting the trademark rights.

The court summoned both clients on 30^th March, 2016, ad restored the decision it has made on 2013. Apple failed to testify that in 2007, iPhone was a famous brand in China.
