There have been a pair of claims made on social media concerning the swollen batteries found in new iPhone 8 Plus designed and sold by Apple. In this regard, the company has now decided to invest some time on investigating this issue. By doing so, the company plans to ensure that it has to evaluate the and make an authentic theory concerning the battery swelling cases found in iPhone 8 Plus.

This was done because a couple social media posts highlighted photos about the swollen battery cases due to which the screens phones were pushed right out. In one of these posts, a user said that this swelling happened while he was charging the phone through original Apple power adapter and cable. Another owner of the iPhone 8 Plus said that the phone came to him from Apple already with the screen popped out and the cell inside the battery was larger than its normal size.

Apple is now concerned about these issues especially after the battery explosion disaster found in case of Galaxy Note 7 last year, after which all those phones were recalled. Hence, this is a good step on part of Apple to make proper investigation concerning it and devise the best solutions.
