According to the latest rumor iPhone 7 will come thinner than iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It has been primarily due to the 3D Touch that the iPhone 6s lineup was .2mm thicker than its previous version. For instance iPhone 6 is 6.9mm thick while the 6s came out to be 7.1mm thick. Similarly, 6s Plus is 7.3mm thick as compared to 6 Plus which is 7.1mm thick.

But the new rumors suggest a very good news for Apple users the next iconic iteration will be on strict diet and is likely to come with maximum thickness of 6.5mm. It is likely due to the expected removal of 3.5mm jack which will give some room for more smartness of the phone. It was also hoped by many that Apple might put some extra battery dose instead of making just the phone a bit thinner.

A higher battery capacity is still on the table. A picture that we showed you last time allegedly reveals that the battery of the iPhone 7 will have 6.5% increase from iPhone 6s making it up to 1826mAh as compared to 1715mAh of the previous version.
