Apple has been recently granted the patents to produce curved and flexible displays. This comes as result of Patent Application that has been filed in 2013. With this it cannot only produce curved displays but flexible screens as well. The innovation can help to display greater content on the screen.The patents allow the Apple to make any curved shape.

Apple got the patents to produce curved and flexible displays

It can be cylindrical, spherical and anything near or close to being curved. Apple can design a smartphone entirely on glass that could replace certain buttons with 3D Touch. Further a screen can also be put behind a screen that would produce 3D images.

Apple has also filed for patents for gesture-based system where certain passcodes in collaboration with Touch ID. This is quite contrary to Android gesture-based system, where certain dots tapped matter, however, Apple technology works on how much a specific dot is tapped.

In this passcode system, you have more opportunities of using patterns and combinations. This will not let anyone to breach the passcode and break into your phone very easily.
