The conversion of Android handsets to its newer software version, Marshmallow, is taking place step by step. The software giant is quickly picking up the major handsets that will now onwards receive the update or in the process of receiving it. Very recently, Samsung Galaxy A8 has been spotted running the Marshmallow. The device has been spotted in a certification form by Wi-Fi Alliance. This means Sammy has already approved the update, so when it will pass Alliance’s interoperability, it will be ready to roll out to the users massively.

Also a couple of weeks ago, we saw the same certification approving the Marshmallow for Samsung Galaxy A7 and A5, but reports on a massive update are yet to come. It is important to also consider if you bought your device from carrier, it needs additional wait to approve the update.

This is how the Android World goes. However, the FTC and FCC are now working together to seek why Android manufacturers are taking so long for security updates.
