According to recent stats the up gradation of Android devices to Marshmallow, Google’s new OS, has doubled. Marshmallow is now installed in 4.6 percent Android devices, which was before that rolled out to only 2.3 percent devices.

In April, Lollipop market share was 35.8 percent which was reduced by 0.3 percent last year. KitKat share has also reduced by 0.9 percent and now it is only 33. 4 percent.

Jelly Bean market share is now 21. 3 percent. This month Android Ice-cream sandwich has reduced by 0.1 percent. Gingerbread and Froyo are still holding 2.6 percent and 0.1 percent market share respectively.
