It has been seven days since the beginning of pre-orders for Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. The new trend has begun in this regard, which is not coming out as good for Apple.

According to Jun Zhang, an analyst at Rosenblatt, the pre-orders for new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are actually lagging behind the ones that were made for iPhone 6 and iPhone 7 in previous years. This might be due to the many customers waiting to pre-order the new anniversary iPhone X due to which the pre-orders for other two new phones have become low in number so far.

According to Zhang, the pre-orders for iPhone 8 only in China have so far been 1.5 million, which were about 3.5 million for the case of iPhone 7 for similar one week period after launch.

This is not coming out as a good news for Apple so far. However, it might turn out to be a good news anyway for the company when the pre-orders for iPhone X begin, as Apple might compensate the maximum number of pre-orders in that case.
