Almost one year has passed when nearly 140 innocent children of APS were brutally massacred by militants. The bloodshed happened on December 16, 2015. Fahad Muhammad Khan managed to save his son but could not shake off the aftermath of that event in his mind. After APS attack he started building an App to help people in emergencies.

The App dubbed “Muhafiz” is esp. for people of Pakistan in emergencies. The App will allow the person to send distress signal to their loved ones. The App just goes with both iOS and Android platforms. It just require user to give information like Blood group, Email, Gender, etc. It helps the person in emergency to send a distress signal to ICE (in case of emergency) numbers with a touch of one button.

Following are the instructions to useMohafiz App:

  • After downloading the application two buttons will appear.
  • The one button will be red and is for immediate emergency.Pressing it will send your location and message of distress to your ICE (in case of emergency) numbers. If your GPRS is active, the same information will be send to your Facebook and Twitter also.
  • The orange button is for progressing emergencies. While the rest of the procedure will remain same as the red button has.

We hope that such services will help people to avoid or minimize the greater tragedies by giving others a chance to assist them at the call of button in country of delayed response of ambulances and police.
