Thus your personal information is being used for various purposes which raises suspicions and concerns. A recent revelation will also baffle you that how your photos are treated with similar apps by these sites.
As Nashville Business Journal writer David A. Arnott found out, that your personal photos stay on PhotoBack up by Google even after you’ve deleted, or uninstalled the app. Several tech publications have verified the claims since and found them to be completely true. Arnott, a user, also claimed the same issue when he saw hundreds of his personal photos still resting in Google Photos account, months after he’d uninstalled the app.
The main reason behind this problem is that Android manages the upload of media files, by default, through Google Settings. The same option handles various other tasks, hence, even if you get rid of the main app, the settings won’t change. Google just maintains the system running as intended, so no wrongdoing on its part.
Thankfully you can get rid of this menace by going to Google setting options on your menu, select Google Photos backup and simply clasp the switch to off. Google says it has always worked on issues of this sort and can never be threatening tracker to it user’s personal life.
