SBP(State Bank of Pakistan) announces an official app to check fake currency notes

Due to the rising public concerns of fake currency SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) is currently developing an app that will identify whether the currency is real or not. This app will be open to the public. The app will be available for both iOS and Android users and will make the people aware regarding the indications with which they can identify between a fake and real note.

You can choose the bank note from the app and a picture will depict the exclusive security safeguards built-in in that rupee note. Values of the rupee note include 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000, and 5000.

The app only needs minimum iOS 8 version to work with, but it could have been developed to work with earlier version and old devices as well. Based on user preferences you can get the app is available in Urdu and English version as well.

There are two ways to authenticate a note. Firstly, it gives you the image of anoriginal note with UV genre. And secondly, it gives you a peek at signs to look out for. There you can also flip the currency and view the other side.
