Aetna in Talks to Sell Apple Watch Cheaply for Expanding Health Subsidy

  MPC Team

According to the CNBC report, the health insurance company Aetna is under secret negotiations with Apple to offer discounted or free Apple Watches to the millions of employees covered on Aetna’s insurance plan. This appears to be a great news.

Aetna had claimed previous year in September 2016 that it will be subsidizing the Apple Watches for employees covered under its health insurance plans. The company has however done this for only large employers who entered in this participation.

So far it is rumored that Aetna and Apple are now in talks to subsidize millions of more people vis-à-vis cheaper Apple Watches. Aetna has not yet commented on it and neither Apple agreed to comment on it so far.

However, multiple reports suggest that new Apple Watch 3 will release next month and will have built-in LTE cellular connectivity. For more information about Apple watches, click here.
