The official date for unveiling of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has been confirmed, and it does coincide with the grieving day of 9/11. We must only hope that this phone will only bring smiles to the people’s faces on that day.

The Chinese company posted a teaser image on Weibo and claimed that successor of Mi Mix will be official on September 11.

We still do not have any other confirmations about the phone yet, but the rumors so far suggest that Mi Mix 2 will be coming with a dual camera and it is probable that this time the bezels will be thinner than before. There will also be 3D facial recognition support in this smartphone.

Leaks further suggest that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, 128/256GB internal storage, 6GB RAM, 6.4-inch AMOLED display, Android 7.1.1. Nougat, and 4,500mAh battery.
