Xiaomi is all set to launch its update Redmi Note 2 Prime in the Indian market initially or may be solely via Amazon. This is because Amazon is the only one teasing the poster, while the date is yet to be revealed. Moreover, we have heard no word on pricing. This news has come 3 months after the Redmi 2 Prime was unveiled followed by a successor Redmi Note 3 right after two weeks.

The Redmi Note 2 Prime was announced alongside with a non-Prime version. The two could be differentiated by CPU clock rate and storage capacity. Both smartphones feature MediatekHelio X10 chipset, however,octa-core processor in the Prime is tickling at 2.2GHz, while the Redmi Note 2 is currently humming up to 2.0GHz. Native storage for both is 32GB and 16GB, respectively.

Both smartphones pack 5.5-inch FullHD display with 2GB RAM. In camera department, it has 13MP rear unit and 5MP front facer. The devices will be powered by beefy 3060mAh battery.
