Microsoft is earnestly spreading the word on the shortly launching Windows 10. This, of course means hitting best possible venue it can get and what is better than the annual electronics convention in Berlin.

Windows IFA event in September is likely to showcase no Lumias

Therefore, the company has confirmed to host an event called “Windows 10 Lights up New Devices” on September 4 at 3PM local time with Nick Parker, Vice President of the OEM division.

It appear that this event will not entertain any Lumia devices. According to the message for the event Parker will demonstrate a range of new Windows 10 devices, including tablets, 2-in-1s, premium notebooks, gaming devices and all-in-ones that will light up the Windows 10 experience for customers. There could be one to two more surprises though.

However, we might keep our fingers crossed for second IFA event dedicated entirely to new Lumia phones.
