  MPC Team

Head of Microsoft Windows announced that Windows 10 mobile won’t be their focus so there won’t be any new features or hardware for the phone in future. Bill Gates and HP already pulled off for Windows handsets and now Microsoft realized it too as less number of users are on Windows 10 mobile because it doesn’t have enough apps to keep it alive and attractive.

Joe Belfiore, head of Microsoft PC Tablet Phone and Corporate vice president Windows 10 shared on Twitter that they will continue to fix bugs and push security updates but there won’t be any new features or updates related to this phone.

Microsoft has produced softwares for mobile phones but it changed with the launch of Android and iOS operating systems. According to Kantar Worldpanel, Windows phone accounts for 1.3 percent of sales in US whereas Android has 64 percent and iPhone has 34 percent of the market share.
