Finally, Warid has also started pre ordering of Iphone 6 and iPhone 6 plus.in order to compete the iPhone battle. This is the first time in Pakistan that majority of telecoms have started pre ordering for smart phone at the same time. Prior to this, we have been observing that telecom companies sign an exclusive agreement with mobile phone manufacturer or its official distributor for pre ordering to take a lead from their competitors. Probably Apple has forced not to sign any exclusive agreement with any one telecom company due to volume of business.Like Samsung did exclusive agreement with Telenor for Galaxy Note 4 and for Samsung Galaxy S5 with Ufone. As compare to Galaxy series there is huge craze of Iphone among the upper class of Pakistan. According to company officials, Warid will start shipping on the same date of December 11, 2014 It is also important to note that Warid introducing TRIO SIM for iPgoe users that can be easily converted as micro, nano SIM and then regular SIM. This TRIO SIM will be 4G enabled and will come with free 4G trails in 4G covered areas. It is surprised that Zong has not shown any kind of interest to participate in Iphone 6 race. Zong may have not taken this step due to because its major subscriber base does not have the purchasing power to buy iphone 6. Being a analyst we think Zong did a mistake and has given an open chance to its competitor to win the customers. Zong has already shown its financial muscles by winning the 4G bid exclusively, we can’t think about Zong will commit such blunder. This will also let down the Zong subscribers who are really Iphone lovers. Mobilink, ufone, Telenor and Warid subscriber will feel proud and more confident about their service provider. There is another aspect that Zong may stop Warid not to launch 4G through PTA. This war is already going on between Warid and Zong and Pakistan government is lingering the matter due to political issues. Pakistan government neither say no to China government nor to UAE government.
