There is a major rumor out and about in Korea and it is regarding the next iteration of Samsung Galaxy Note phablet. The purports an interesting development that the upcoming Note will not be named Note 6. It will be instead Note 7. The reason being Sammy think customers believe Note is more of an obsolete offering as compared to S series as it is one number behind it. The current is S7 while the Note will be S6.

The Next Samsung Note will be Note 7, What if the Note 6 never comes.

Working on this Notion, the company is deciding to change the anomaly and bring both to the match. The Galaxy S7 will now have the Note 7 in line. As per same report, The Galaxy note will have edges on the both side (front and back). In addition to this some prior leaks suggest, it will be powered by Snapdragon 830 chipset which is one step up from SD 820 and will feature a 6GB LPDDR4 RAM. The device will also feature IP certification which is also included in current S7 duo after experiencing disgruntled customers when missed in previous flagship model S6.

Samsung reports to launch the handset in August, which is close to September launch in iPhone 7. Once these released, both will wait how the markets takes up the two most amazing offerings.
