The Huawei Y7 was launched last year as a low to mid-range smartphone featuring a 5.5-inch HD display and it’s powered by the Snapdragon 435 chipset. According to a teaser tweeted by tipster Evan Blass and the recent images of a handset posted by the FCC, Huawei will seemingly leap to the Y9 smartphone this year. There are also some rumors related to the several key specs of Y9, but the images shows it will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The teaser clues that the alleged Y9 smartphone will come with a dual rear camera setup, but it has two more snappers in the front as well. Reportedly, a fingerprint sensor is placed at back of the smartphone, Android Nougat will be pre-installed and it houses a 3500mAh battery. However, regardless of the FCC approval, there is no confirmation that the Huawei Y9 will arrive in the United States, specifically with the U.S. Government cautious of any handset carrying the Huawei name.
