Smartphones gradually get ‘Hey Google’ wakeup command!

At the moment, you are either able to say ‘Ok, Google’ or ‘Hey, Google’ for initiating the voice command in the devices in which Google Home is installed. The second wake command mentioned above was not working earlier in the Google’s mobile version, but now it has started working.

The users are now able to activate their Google Assistant through saying ‘Hey, Google’ rather than saying ‘Okay, Google’, and this update is rolling out in different smartphone devices gradually.

It may not be considered as a very significant change, but it is still considerable for many. Moreover, those users who get this update will first be getting a notification through they will be prompted for getting this update after which they will be able to speak ‘Hey, Google’, and the assistant will automatically be opened.
