In January Samsung launched its first Tizen-based smartphone Z1 in India. Later despite of meek specs the smartphone got immense popularity due to new OS and price tag. Recently, it has been launched in Bangladesh. Though Z1 has not yet explored many markets but its successor’s name has come to light by an unofficial source. As Z1 does not have whopping specs and features, the device is expected to get old faster probably for this reason the next in line dubbed Z2 is in the rumor mill sooner than expected. Moreover, the company also wants to earn some extra from the favorable turnout of first one.

Nothing much is yet known regarding the specifications and features of the upcoming Z2. However it is expected to launch with QHD display. This will surely come with Tizen OS update to support 540 x 960 pixel screen. The rest would unveil as Samsung will more openly discuss the developments in Z2.
