Samsung launched new range for recycled Note 7 devices, which were again called to mind due to its battery bursting issue. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition (Note FE) was sold in South Korea for 700,000 Korean won i.e. £469. The new range will be for 400,000 units, and according to Samsung, they would be perfectly safe. Samsung did not confirm that these devices would be sold elsewhere than South Korea.

Samsung to Launch Recycled Galaxy Note 7

Around 2.5 million pieces of the original Note 7 were called to mind in October last year because of the faulty batteries, which caused devices to catch fire, which was the main reason of Note 7 failure. When second batch was released, it had the same problem of burning.

Because of this, it was banned during travel, and many airlines warned passengers not to carry Note 7, otherwise they won’t be allowed to board in. The Galaxy Note 7 was discontinued and the company suffered loss of £4.3 billion.
