The last verdict for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco is finally here.  The company has thoroughly investigated the matter with complete team of experts and has worked upon why the handset failed at all. This investigation was carried out for all hardware, software, assembly processes and so on. Samsung officially announces why Note 7 fiasco happened.

Finally, the company has made the statement which was much expected. It was a battery-only issue, outright. The company says battery to be the only reason of overheating phones and thermal disturbances. So the company has to clearly state that battery only caused the fires and damages to customers.

It is also reported that both SDI-made and Amperex-made batteries had some design and manufacturing flaws that led to inflaming and catching fire in the end. We would not like to be technical but there were few safety features missing for yet to be tested designs that accounts for slimmer smartphones.

However, the company has now called for an extra “multi-layer safety measure” and “an 8-point battery safety check”. This is to ensure safe design and battery measure while carving the next product. Samsung also announces that it will ensure that the next in line slimmer device will have safer design and has spotless battery production.
