Samsung J1 debuted in January this year and is now being offered in Philippines for purchase. The device will be available at 5,490 Philippine pesos which is roughly around $123. The inexpensive handset already went on sale in India and Malaysia.Just a couple of weeks ago Netherlands and Germany became the first markets to get the smartphone. The Galaxy J1 runs on a Spread trum chipset with a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400 GPU. It has a 4.3″ WVGA display. It comes with 512 MB RAM and 4GB expandable storage. Imaging department features a 5 MP rear unit and a 2 MP front shooter. It is powered by an 1850mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz.
