Samsung launches Galaxy Xcover 4.

Samsung has recently introduced another smartphone in its Xcover family, which has the same ruggedness like predecessors but is designed with durability in mind. The mid-range device dubbed Galaxy Xcover 4 has IP68 certification, which shows it will be dust and water-resistant. Further, it can operate efficiently under even worse whether condition, either low or high, as per military grading.

As Xcover is all about ruggedness, it does not offer specs that lead the industry standards, and is even not required. The Xcover 4 comes with 4.99-inch 720p TFT display. Under the helm, is 1.4 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, which is modest, and 16GB ROM. The device is expandable via micro card which is up to 256GB. The battery has 2,800mAh capacity, while the camera department features 13MP rear unit and 5MP front-facer.

The Xcover 4 despite its ruggedness will ship with latest and smartest Android 7.0 Nougat, which should be installed in phone suitable to extreme conditions. Samsung has announced that the company has made the camera doable even in worst condition due to military grade specs and camera’s high responsiveness to light.

Samsung Xcover 4 will sell in black colors and will release in Europe for €259.
