The S6 and S6 Edge demand is soaring and it can be predicted by the number of pre-orders taking place every week which is putting Sammy under the pressure to produce more with limited supply esp. in case of edge screen. Even the company wasn’t expecting this much response. Initially the shipment figures were 25 million which later increased to 38million and now reaching up to 55 million.

Now the Korean media also reported double the amount of S5 pre-orders in case of the flagship duo in US. The S6 and S6 edge was launched in US last Friday and will be up for shipment on April 11.

The 55 million figure hasn’t been confirmed by Samsung or any of it carrier selling the devices. Two carriers SK and KT will launch the duo two days later due to legal and promotional requirements.
