It seems that company has high hopes with the Note. The Korean website ET News has reported that Sammy will enter mass production of handset next month. Samsung plans to manufacture 5 million Notes as per source as a part of its initial supply. The 2.5 million units will be manufactured in July and the rest will be manufactured in August. Last year, 5 million Note 5s were manufactured in 2015, while manufacturing the same amount on Note in two months means Sammy is expecting better sales this year.

As per ET, the device will have a dual curve display and will not feature a flat screen variant.

As per previous sources, the next generation Note will have 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen, and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor (US variant). The rest of the specs include an iris scanner, 6 GB of RAM, USB Type-C port, and a 4000mAh battery. At launch, the smartphone should boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Note 7 or Note 6 is likely to hit the market shelves in mid-August and will be available at all major US carriers.
